Thank you for stopping by! In this post we are happy to introduce Nancy and Brad. They came to Newport Beach Table Tennis Club wondering if they were really going to learn the sport of table tennis.
Nancy came over from New Mexico to engage in two weeks of intense training geared at improving her skills. Ron, our head coach, immediately started teaching her step by step lessons. After this short amount of time, Nancy returned home and impressed all her friends with her advanced progress. Thanks to her motivation and focus, Nancy has better forehand technique, more knowledge of the game, and how to serve and prepare her shots better than ever. Also with Nancy was her son, Brad, who came to watch her lesson. He quickly saw how entertaining and productive the class was and decided to give it a try. Now Brad is a table tennis fan in Newport Beach as he found the level of discipline, patience and practice to the sport important skills to learn.
After his first lesson was over, Brad said “This is a real workout. I never imagined table tennis could be so much fun when you learn it with the proper technique.”
As you can see from Nancy and Brad’s family experience, table tennis is a sport for life regardless of age or skill level. Moreover, we believe a sport like this unites families and creates countless cherished memories.
