Tony Kovacs and Kuei Chen

The Equal Challenge Tournament in Newport Beach keeps rocking every Wednesday night.  If you have not yet come, this week will be your chance.  Every player has a great experience without compromising your table tennis level. All levels are welcome and if you like the challenge, this is the place for you.

With 15 participants the night was made to play table tennis.  Three groups of five people with the best two advancing in each group for the single elimination bracket.  The total number of games we played that night was 65 matches.

We also want to welcome Malcolm Lewis and hopefully you enjoyed the tournament much as we do.

Remember the equal challenge gives beginner players a unique advantage against their more experienced competitors.  Our custom points system allows beginners to advance confidently in the sport of table tennis, while at the same time giving seasoned pros the opportunity to flex their skills. This is an excellent and unique method for new students to gauge their aptitude, build confidence and focus on progress.

Match of the night

Ehsan Foroudi with a great effort defeated Keyla Arellano in the fifth game 18-16.  A great match to watch as both of them gave their best to advance.

Single Elimination Bracket Results

Congratulations Tony!  Two times in a row he is the Equal Challenge Champion and now he is closer to win the Equal Challenge Progressive Jackpot of $270.

Come this Wednesday night and challenge our table tennis players and be the next Equal Challenge Champion.
